Product Review: L’Oreal True Match Foundation*
![]() |
I’ll be completely honest, its hard to beat a mineral foundation. Escpecially a powder mineral foundation. The biggest problem for me is to find a foundation(mineral or otherwise) to actually blend in with my natural skin tone, which is white with a hint of yellow undertones. And mineral foundation has perfect coverage, and mineral powder foundation is so easy to use.
That said, I am not completely adverse to trying any types of makeup. L’Oreal’s New True Match Super-Blendable Foundation sounds promising. The bottle says it has SPF 7 Sunscreen(always a plus in my book), oil free, and all-day wear. Sounds good to me.
The foundation color I am using is Light Ivory W2(the second lightest color in warm). It takes a bit of blending but once blended in properly the foundation becomes invisible. It feels light as it works as a natural coverage. But what really makes this foundation stand out as it contains Precise Match Technology which lets you really customize your coverage. Of course, I prefer a light coverage, so I use a little at a time. But if you’re looking for more coverage, then I would recommend using a little more.
