Earlier this week I read a blog post from a fabulous blog that I haven’t discovered until recently. You can read the post at The Budget Fashionista: essentially its about how Estee Lauder is shutting down their entire line of Prescriptives cosmetics and skin care products. Its time to head to their official website and start stocking up on your favorite products now because they are officially closing up for business by 2010.
Since I am sad to see Prescriptives go, I would like to dedicate this entire post as a farewell to Prescriptives and the 10 Products that will be missed most.

1-Deluxe Lip Pencil: Pure genius. This dual-ended lip liner offers precise color like no other. With one end you can line your lips with ease thanks to the thin pen-like liner, and then you’ve got the brush to blend it in. Lip liner is normally a scary thing to use, escpecially for those of us who don’t want the clown effect- not this. Prescriptives Deluxe Lip Pencil will be missed. Here is my list in no particular order.

2-Lash Envy Volumizing Mascara/Falsh Eyelashes Plush Mascara:
Why I couldn’t pick one over the other is obvious- they both are best sellers. And its easy to see why. Lash Envy volumizes and lasts for about 12-hours, while False Eyelashes curls and lengthens your lashes, while softening them with a conditioner formula.

3-Calyx Sheer Exhilaration Fragrance: Okay, so this is a limited edition fragrance, but still. This sexy summer fragrance is a mix of tropical meets woodsy. The perfume contains notes of grapefruit, mandarin, mango, freesia, sandalwood, and vetiver. This sexy scent was scene in magazines Teen Vogue and Fitness.

4-Vibrant-C Skin Brightening Lotion Moisturizer: This magic skin brightening formula is infused with Vitamin C to keep your skin looking fresh. Used daily, this magic potion brightens your complexion. This lotion is/was a favorite for anyone who wants to look more youthful.

5-Exhilarating Lip Gloss: Okay, this is anothe limited editon, although truthfully speaking everything is now limited edition. This jelly lipgloss goes on nearly clear, adds shine, and a hint of flavor. Its hard to choose between the three flavors: mango, guava, or pink grapefruit. Its time to stock up on Prescriptives Exhilarating Lip Gloss

6-Sunsheen Bronzing Trio: Choose your subtle bronzing powder from three different compact bronzers: light, medium, or dark. Its the easiest way to achieve a faux glow with three complementing shades.

7-Redness Relief Gel: This simple little gel relieve all red spots and irritations. It also feature Aloe Vera to give your skin a feeling of instant relief. It also eatured anti-red complex to balance out the entire skin tone. Lets be honest, its the instant relief of Prescriptives Redness Relief Gel that will be missed most.

8-Lip Specialist Triple Action Therapy: This creamy lip conditioner soothes chapped lips, and once again offers instant relief. Relief against the dryness of the chapped lips. It also containted botanicals which plumped up lips naturally.

9-Camoflauge Cream: Not only does this conceal dark circles, and other flaws, this concealer also makes a terrific primer in lieu of foundation.

10-Colorscope Plush Blush: This is a multi-purpose product and is sure to be missed! Highlighter, blush, or lip color: its all in this one wonder product. And its so easy just to pop in your purse to take wherever you go.
